UPSC IES / ESE (Engineering Services Examination) is conducted every year by Union public service commission, New Delhi. This exam is conducted under the following four categories of engineering : 

  1. Civil Engineering
  2. Electrical Engineering
  3. Electronics and Communication Engineering
  4. Mechanical Engineering

UPSC IES / ESE application form for IES 2021 examination would be available from the fiest week of April, Till than IES aspirants for getting all the information please refer IES 2020 notification. You can consider IES 2020 notification as an guide until IES 2021 notification will not released.

Age Limits

(a) A candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 
the 1st  January, 2021 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd  January, 1991 and not later than 1st January, 2000. 

(b)  The  upper  age‐limit  of  30  years  will  be  relaxable  upto  35  years  in  the  case  of  Government  servants
